Before starting work as a CNA, trainees are commonly required to complete a physical exam that licenses they are fit sufficient to do the responsibilities of a nursing aide. Furthermore, students will need to pass a TB test and reveal evidence of existing immunizations before functioning with individuals.


The majority of states call for nursing aides to go through a criminal background check prior to starting job. Some colleges or states will pay for these history checks on behalf of the pupils, and in other cases fingerprinting and history checks set you back the trainees around $20-$40. Each state requires nursing aides pass a certification exam in order to begin working.


In enhancement to tuition some institutions may bill additional program costs, such as modern technology fees, lab costs or application charges.
